protéger sa vue

80% of the information we process daily comes through our eyes, so it is essential to protect them.

To take care of them, remember to use glasses:

  • When it's sunny (at the sea, in the mountains, in the city, and in the car)
  • When you're doing DIY (even "weekend" DIY)
  • If you have vision problems (myopia, presbyopia, etc.)

Protecting your eyes during DIY with Varionet Safety glasses

When you're doing DIY, you can be exposed to various risks that, in the worst cases, are irreversible.

  • When doing mechanical DIY, you can scratch your cornea (rusting metal filings, etc.), or get a projectile in your eyes, leading to a more or less serious injury.
  • When doing chemical DIY, you can get splashes of various products that can cause simple irritation or a more severe burn to the cornea.
  • When doing thermal DIY, it is possible to burn your cornea and ocular adnexa (eyelashes, eyelids, etc.) from heat and even cold.
  • When doing DIY involving rays, you can cause irreversible damage due to IR and UV rays.

To anticipate these different risks as best as possible, we have developed a pair of safety glasses specifically for DIY: the Varionet Safety. Our glasses are of optical class 0 and meet the strength tests of the CE standard.

The eyes are protected, and the field of vision is maximized thanks to Varionet progressive lenses, making them ideal for presbyopic people over 40. The temples are adjustable in length and tiltable for greater comfort, and the lenses are made of hardened polycarbonate to be less easily scratched and resistant to impacts. In addition, Varionet Safety glasses are very lightweight!

Prescription and solar safety glasses

For double protection, there are Varionet Safety solar glasses: protection from UV and glare, as well as impacts. You can choose your pair based on your diopter from +1 to +3.50.
